Julie De Bona has been lighting up French cinema screens since her debut in the rom-com Quand les anges s’en mêlent… all the way back in 2005. This charming blue-eyed comedienne of both Vietnamese and Italian origins has appeared in a half-dozen big-screen comedies since then, including the instantly relatable I Hate My Best Friends’ Kids (2007), Cyprien (2009), Camping 2 (2010), Les princes de la nuit (2010), Beur sur la ville (2011) and Homeland (2013). Julie is equally adept at getting laughs on the small screen, as proven by her run on the popular sitcoms Une famille formidable and La smala s’en mêle. But if you’re looking for Julie to tickle your pickle, rather than just your funny bone, check out the TV movie Gérald K Gérald (2011), where she bares her fun(ny)bags as an artists’ model.
